Executive Team

Nick
Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer
Following graduating from Georgetown University's American Studies Program, Nick earned an M.A. in Global Security Studies from Johns Hopkins University. His capstone research contributions explored homegrown radicalism and operational efficacy of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s Special Operational Force (NATO SOF) amidst conflicts in the MENA region. During his graduate studies Goracy worked alongside renowned Middle Eastern scholar, Jim Phillips, at The Heritage Foundation in Washington D.C. With Philips, he helped develop critical information packages that would be presented to members of Congress, the Executive Branch, and USSOCOM leadership. Nick then worked for Nisos Group, a collection of former DoD umbrella operatives designated to provide bespoke intelligence operations to Fortune 500 companies and high net worth individuals. In addition to assembling targeting packages alongside former Special Operations Officers, driving engagement, he supported capital-raising efforts in Nisos Group’s infancy. Nisos has since become nationally recognized as a premier intelligence service. Following Nisos Group, Nick began providing bespoke services to an UHNW family office with multi-national considerations. Originally a pilot program for at-risk youth, it served as the genesis for Servius' original concept.
David
Co-Founder, Chief Financial Officer
David has spent forty years in the investment management and securities industries. After starting at Morgan Stanley in 1978, he was part of a Morgan alumni team that founded the Equity Capital Markets Group at Lazard Freres in 1981. He served as Managing Director of domestic and international sales and trading at Laidlaw Adams & Peck from 1987-1989. David was then one of the Founders of SGI Asset Management, a global fixed income and currency trading firm sold to Edmond Safra's Republic National Bank in 1992. David was the Managing Director in charge of global client development for Peter Cohen, former CEO of Shearson Lehman American Express. After Republic, he joined Emerging Markets Partnership, which became the largest private equity investor in developing countries' infrastructure projects He reunited with Mr. Cohen in 2000 at Ramius Capital, a multi-strategy hedge fund. As the Partner in charge of global business development, the firm grew from $900million to $13Billion at peak. Ramius executed a reverse merger with the Cowen Group in 2009, where David served as a Senior Advisor since 2018. David holds a BA from Georgetown University, a JD from Catholic University and an MBA from Harvard University.

Chief Technology Officer
Experienced security researcher and technologist with deep expertise in wireless protocols (802.11, Z-Wave, Zigbee, LoRa), offensive security, and embedded systems. Led development of the first counter-drone system based on protocol manipulation and contributed to advanced R&D efforts for DARPA, DTRA, and US SOCOM. Skilled in penetration testing, protocol exploitation, and custom tool creation, with key open-source contributions to projects like Aircrack-NG, Airdrop-ng, and LORCON. Trusted instructor to elite military units, including US Special Forces, and recognized for delivering top-rated technical training in offensive security and wireless exploitation.
Michelle
Executive Vice President of Analysis
With over 20 years of experience in intelligence analysis, counterintelligence, and project management, Michelle serves as the Executive Vice President of Analytics at Servius Group LLC. She leads analytic initiatives addressing Great Power Competition, terrorism, and localized security risks, integrating emerging technologies—including AI and machine learning—where they strengthen collection, analysis, and decision support. Her career includes senior intelligence roles supporting the Department of Homeland Security, bipartisan Congressional research, the Department of Defense, and the FBI’s Counterintelligence Division. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Penn State University, a Master of Arts in Intelligence Studies, and professional certifications in counterintelligence and national security. She is currently pursuing a second Master’s degree in Military History with a certification in Strategic Leadership. Michelle’s expertise spans counterterrorism, insider threat mitigation, supply chain risk analysis, and foreign adversary threat assessment—covering influence operations, espionage/counterintelligence, and critical infrastructure targeting. In her current role, she builds mission-aligned partnerships and delivers practical, collaborative solutions to evolving security challenges.
Mike
Chief Security Officer
Mike is an accomplished security expert with over 25 years of experience in cybersecurity, including penetration testing, red teaming, application security testing, software development, and policy writing. He utilizes this expertise to assist his team and clients in achieving their goals and objectives during projects. Mike is a frequent attendee and speaker at security conferences, such as DEFCON and the IAEA Conference on Nuclear Security. Mike has experience working in both the public and private sector, including various senior and leadership roles at Accenture, Cylance Inc, and the US Department of Energy. He has also had the privilege of working with and providing training to special forces units, as well as collaborating with government agencies such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Additionally, Mike has worked with various Intelligence Agencies, applying his expertise to support national security initiatives. He enjoys helping organizations build and train their internal Red Teams and has provided this service for several utility clients across the US. Mike is currently sitting for his MSc in Software and Systems Security at Oxford University.
Gino
Behavioral Scientist, PhD
Gino has a background in anthropology, cognitive science and psychology. Since 2014, John has focused on applying complex systems theory to model human behavior systems, emphasizing cognitive warfare and strategic competition. His expertise has been utilized in collaboration with U.S. Special Forces, NATO allies, and interagency partners to advance ethnoconitive modeling since 2019. Gino has conducted both domestic and international applied research projects, bridging insights and perspectives from anthropology, psychology, cognitive science and complex systems to address strategic defense challenges.
